History of Indian Motorcycle

Indian Motorcycle rose to prominence as the world's leading motorcycle manufacturer in the 1910s. Some of the most popular models were the Scout and the Chief. The Indian Motorcycle factory team won the 1911 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy, taking the first three positions. Indian also established itself in the field of flat track, becoming rivals with Harley-Davidson.
Polaris Industries bought the Indian motorcycle brand in 2011, transferred the company's operations from North Carolina, and combined them with its current Minnesota and Iowa facilities. Since August 2013, Polaris has developed, built, and produced many motorbike models with historic Indian flair under the Indian Motorcycle name.

Indian FTR
The Indian FTR is an attention-catcher. It strikes the perfect mix between fashion and performance. The ideal fusion of a daily commuter and a weekend weapon, the FTR is powerful enough to tear down the highway while still being agile enough to handle confined spaces.

Indian Scout
The Indian Scout is the company's interpretation of what the iconic 1928 motorbike would have become if it had been produced indefinitely. The Scout Sixty is one of the bikes in the Scout range with a lower displacement engine (specs) designed for beginner riders.
This model comes packed with a 69-cubic-inch V-Twin engine with liquid cooling and a 5,900 rpm output of 100 horsepower and 72.2 lb-ft. Highway driving is easy thanks to its seamless power delivery.
