How to Clean your Personal Watercraft

One of the best ways to ensure that you enjoy watercraft riding in Miami, for years to come, is by maintaining it with natural resources. Today, we're going to discuss the simple steps that will help you keep your luxury watercraft in good shape when in contact with water.
Gather your supplies
To start, you need to first gather the supplies that are required for the multi-surface cleaning process. Gathering a few important things like clean water, mild soap, wax, bucket, chamois soft cloth, sponges, soft brush, life jackets, etc., would be a good way to start. Be sure you choose the right area for the thorough cleaning of your watercraft for coastal waters. An area with flat ground that has a freshwater hose nearby would be suitable to clear the dirt and grime from your watercraft. When choosing the washing solution for normal operation, be sure it is eco-friendly and soft. Steer away from the bleach or solutions that contain ammonia, and go for the liquid dish soap.
Rinse thoroughly
Your next step is to rinse off your PWC with some freshwater. This will help you to get off some grime and eliminate the excessive timing of scrubbing with a multi-surface cleaner. Before starting the procedure, be sure you remove the drain plug. Rinse the seats, footwells, storage places, and other parts of your watercraft thoroughly. Make sure you don't sprinkle hot water on electrical parts as it could damage your watercraft.
Scrub your personal watercraft
Once you're done with rinsing, it's time to scrub your personal watercraft and exhaust duct with a marine washing solution. Use a soft bristle brush to remove the grime on the small parts from the harshest environments. Remember, the footwells of PWC are the dirtiest parts, so make sure you clean it well to get the sludge off, and make your sea-doo watercraft look extra special. Pro tip: if you don't have any marine washing cleaning solution, you can use the car wash cleaner, too.
Clean the seats
When it comes to cleaning the seats, it is important to remember that the seats acquire more stains than other parts while water skiing. You can use the eco-friendly marine wash solution with fresh water for the PWC seats. Wait for a few minutes (5-10 minutes would be enough), and then use a soft brush to remove the stains with clean water.
Wipe down
Now that the cleaning process is over, wipe the whole PWC with a microfiber cloth, or you can use a sponge. In case the stains are still there, use a Magic Eraser in a circular motion to remove the tough stains, and go for regular maintenance. Then, let your PWC remain in the sun to remove the excess water.
Apply wax
Lastly, apply the wax on your personal watercraft and polish it by using a soft cloth. Waxing is one of the best and most affordable ways to keep your PWC and exhaust duct in good condition and free from salt, grime, and sun damage.
