Updated: October 18, 2023
The historic Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show opens its doors for the 63rd time, bringing new life to the "yachting capital of the world."
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is getting ready to reopen at the end of October as a prime opportunity to view and purchase some of the most cutting-edge yachting equipment, with plans to display more than $4 billion worth of yachts and nautical products.
The prestigious show, now in its 63rd year, is no longer only about admiring yachts; it also serves to unite a community and fosters a vibrant social scene throughout the five-day event.
About the Show
Bringing in about 100,000 visitors a year, Fort Lauderdale is the largest on-water yacht exhibition in the world, and it certainly lives up to expectations.
A seamless transportation network guides visitors through all available exhibits, spread out over seven different locations in Fort Lauderdale, and features a wide variety of yachts, including flybridges, sailing yachts, superyachts, tenders, water toys, and naturally, luxury charter yachts.
There will be much to see and do throughout the event and ongoing entertainment across the seven venues, such as live music, cocktail parties, and live demos, plus over six miles of floating docks and about 1,200 exhibitors expected to participate.
